![]() Like I said I'm giving priviledge to cards like Cyclonic Rift but I will get a Prahv, Spires of Order for Greendale Human Being My Smokestack is arriving and I'm already using Braids, Cabal MinionĪ friend of my get Propaganda, Ghostly Prison and stuff like that borrowed until January but will put them back when he return then to VIII Thanks but it's kind out off my budget already using Cataclysm and Global Ruin and people in my meta don't let me use Armageddon and stuff like that. I know but my biggest problem is unblockable attackers with hexproof or shroud and I really like phantasm Maybe I should post my deck here because I'm already using Tangle Wire and Storage Matrix. The Sphere of Resistance and Mana Web are already in my deck.Īctually I kinda like being some kind of archenemy, it's a thrilling challange and when I win in these circunstances it feels really the Mindsculptor It also lets you win combats even with small and/or utility having problems to find Humility and Static Orb at the stores nearby but it's already in my wish list. One last thing: if you're using Caltrops and Lightmine Field, then Death Pits of Rath can be a secondary control element if you don't have your general. If he likes to make his creature hexproof/shrouded, then Prahv, Spires of Order can work by not targeting (although it's a rather hefty mana investment). Here's my removal list vs indestructible:Īdditionally, I use lands like Kor Haven and Maze of Ith. ![]() I have a Teneb, the Harvester deck that plays a bit like a stax deck and I always make sure I can deal with indestructible creatures. I will try to add more board wipes like Cyclonic Rift and Black Sun's Zenith but I think that I'll have to evade Damnation and stuff because there is a lot of indestructible stuff with Rafiq( Usually the one who kills me). ![]() Yeah, I think you may be right, I'm playing too passively. Aside from that, No Mercy, Dissipation Field and Noetic Scales do pretty well in these crazy typhoon games. Propaganda synergizes well with land wipes also. There's just no way for you to keep up on board with that many players, no matter how many wipes you run. I usually don't recommend these, but in a 6-7 player table I would consider Propaganda effects. The only problem with land wipes that don't kill creatures is that they can protect your opponents creatures on board. Otherwise, whoever can't kill them will try to kill you instead. If you do use the slower, on-board Stax like Smokestack and Braids, Cabal Minion, then you should keep them in your hand until after a land wipe, then cast them with the artifact mana you've got left. In Esper, Armageddon, Cataclysm, Catastrophe, Global Ruin etc allow you to keep the denial in hand where opponents will be questioning if you have it, and may even fail to see it coming. It just gets you there in one sudden swoop. One example outside your colors is Jokulhaups. I would talk to your group about splitting into 2 tables.įailing that, you want to play Stax stuff that avoids the board and does not advertise itself. I think pods of 3 play out much more similar to 4 than pods of 5 do, much less 6 and 7. Particularly if the cards that you're playing advertise that you're playing resource denial, there just isn't anything you can do. We usually play with 4~7 people, and my "enemies" are.Ī 7 player table will cause you a serious problem. So my problem is that I'm need some help to stay alive until I lock the table down or combo out.
