Raphael Idem is a Professor of Industrial/Process Systems Engineering at the University of Regina. Prior to Advantage, Abir held various technical roles with Talisman Energy Inc. He was also responsible for overseeing performance and optimization of key water and acid gas disposal wells in the Glacier and Wembley areas. Prior to transitioning to a business development role at Advantage Energy Ltd, Abir was the asset engineer for Advantage’s Glacier and Wembley assets for 2.5 years where he contributed significantly to Advantage’s continuous improvement in well performance via sophisticated data analytics based workflows. Matt also has the role of Investor Relations & Commercial for Entropy Inc.Ībir has over 14 years of diverse experience in the oil and gas industry including pipeline integrity, operations, production, reservoir and development engineering. He received his BSc in Geophysics from the University of Calgary and is a registered professional Geoscientist with APEGA. Matt is very active in the technical community including his recent tenure as Chairman of the Canadian Society of Exploration Geophysicists Chief Geophysicist’s Forum. Hydraulic Fracturing Review Panel in 2018. induced seismicity reporting standards and presented to the B.C. He has been a guest speaker at multiple technical conferences with a focus on induced seismicity, participated in the initial B.C. With over 12 years of technical experience in unconventional energy exploration and development in Alberta and British Columbia (B.C.) for Shell Canada, Painted Pony Energy and Advantage Energy, he has extensive work in studying microseismicity (fracture containment and interaction with natural fractures) due to hydraulic fracturing and injection. Matt is the Senior Geophysicist at Entropy Inc. Angevine holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary and has earned the Chartered Public Accountant (CPA), the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD.D) designations. Angevine was a Portfolio Manager at two asset management companies and prior thereto was Vice President and Director, Institutional Research at FirstEnergy Capital Corp. Prior to her work as a Corporate Director, Ms. ![]() On the community front, Jill serves on the Opportunity Calgary Investment Fund (OCIF) board and the Strathcona Tweedsmuir School board of governors. where she chairs the audit committee and is a member of the corporate governance committee. Ms Angevine also serves on the board of Tourmaline Oil Corp. ![]() Angevine serves on the board of Advantage Energy where she chairs the compensation committee and is a member of the audit committee and ESG committee. Jill Angevine is a Corporate Director with over 25 years of professional experience in the investment management industry including portfolio management, capital markets and equity research. His commitment to leading quality projects had made him a pioneer in leading and organizing large scale projects from conception through to completion. Brent now primarily concentrates his efforts on providing project management expertise to various clients. Together with Rick Bower he founded Allardyce Bower Consulting Inc (ABC) to utilize his knowledge and abilities to provide innovative solutions to energy projects. Chief Engineer and General Manager of Startec Refrigeration for sixteen years, Brent designed and installed hundreds of refrigeration systems from small single stage reciprocating units to several thousand horsepower systems for large gas plants and meat packing installations. which provides refrigeration and process engineering to all facets of refrigeration from gas processing to municipal arenas. He then started Thermocarb Engineering Ltd. Brent began in the refrigeration industry in the mid 70’s and then spent several years at Petro-Canada in process and refrigeration before utilizing his experience to develop Startec Refrigeration into one of the premier refrigeration companies in Western Canada.
